Implications

we're all implicated in the process
  we're all implicated
we're all implicated in the process
  we're all implicated

eating fast food
driving your car
watching tv
or your vcr
using public transit
or smoking a cigar
this shit's here forever
don't need to look real far

we're all implicated in the process
  we're all implicated
we're all implicated in the process
  we're all implicated

wearing sneakers
becoming a vicar
going out to punk shows
or strumming a guitar
watching pornos
or going to a bar
this shit's here forever
don't need to look real far

we're all implicated in the process
  we're all implicated
we're all implicated in the process
  we're all implicated

it's in the coke can on the sidewalk
it's in the styrofoam in your coffee cup
it's in the water that you're drinking
it's in the air that yo have to breathe to live
cause we're all implicated
we're all implicated with everything we do
cause we're all implicated
we're all implicated with everything we do

eating fast food
driving your car
watching tv
or your vcr
using public transit
or smoking a cigar
this shit's here forever
don't need to look real far

cause we're all implicated

Implications notes:

This is my environmentalist-with-a-fatalistic-twist song. Because basically, even the things we do to protest and resist add to the problem. It struck me as I saw a hundred thousand cars and busses descend on Washington to participate in a protest of what many people saw as a war for oil.
