Lyrics: Brni, Charlie and Dan

Music: Brni, Charlie and Dan

====Notes: (by Brni)====
This song represents a number of "firsts." First of all, we had decided to get someone who could actually sing to do the vocals, and Michael Yates grudgingly accepted the task. Unfortunately, he had trouble with the lyrics I'd written because, as he so aptly put it:

"Bernie, face it, none of your lyrics rhyme, and none of them follow any sane meter."

So, I presented this song to Michael, a spoof of every Black Sabbath song I could think of, yet meeting all his stated requirements, and strangely enough, he refused to sing it. Go figure.

This song also represented the first time that Charlie (successfully) added backing vocals to anything - prior to this song, his fingers would stop as soon as he opened his mouth. :) And the third "first" is that when I got to the third verse, I got writer's block, and both Charlie and Dan pitched in to complete the song. You know. For Michael.

====Lyrics====
;rancid mucous in my mouth
;the river runs toward the south
;where blistered hands grasp blistered breasts
;and never hope to earn a rest

:this song does rhyme
:at least some of the time
:it ain't no crime
:tequila with lime

:the light has turned red
:i rotate my head
:so easily led
: like sheep

;pestilent filth runs from the tap
;we fill the glass and toss it back
;it gurgles deep within my throat
;i fear that i might miss the boat

:this song does rhyme
:at least some of the time
:it ain't no crime
:tequila with lime

:the light has turned red
:i rotate my head
:so easily led
: like sheep

;out in the yard i stepped in doo
;i cannot get it off my shoe
;i spilled my beer all down my shirt
;dressed up like this i cannot flirt

:this song does rhyme
:at least some of the time
:it ain't no crime
:tequila with lime

:the light has turned red
:i rotate my head
:so easily led
: like sheep
